Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data flyingeye fr (“Tradply”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use tradply.com, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. It applies to this website and to the purchase of Tradply access plans.
1. Who is responsible for your data
flyingeye fr, 4 Rue Du Bout Sirop, Frémainville, 95450, France, is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. For any question or request, write to support@tradply.com.
2. What we collect, and why
When you buy a plan
Payment is taken on a page hosted by Stripe, not on this website. Card details are entered directly into fields hosted by Stripe and never reach this site — we do not see or store your card number at any point.
Stripe then makes the resulting record available to us — your name, email address, which plan you bought, the amount and the date — so that we can deliver your journal, answer support questions, and keep proper accounting records. Stripe acts as an independent controller for payment data under its own privacy policy.
This website does not run a checkout, does not create customer accounts as part of a purchase, and stores no payment information of any kind.
When you contact us
The name, email address and message you send through the contact form or by email, kept so we can answer you and refer back to the conversation if you write again.
Automatically, when you visit
- Server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps, recorded by our host for security and troubleshooting.
- Essential cookies — described in our Cookie Policy. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
What we never collect
Your Tradply journal is a copy of a Google Sheet held in your Google Drive. We have no access to it. We cannot read your trades, your positions, your P&L, or anything else you record in it. We do not receive that data at any point.
3. Legal bases
- Performance of a contract — processing your order and delivering your journal.
- Legal obligation — keeping tax and accounting records for the period the law requires.
- Legitimate interests — securing the site, preventing fraud, and answering your messages, balanced against your rights.
- Consent — only where we ask for it explicitly, and only until you withdraw it.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. We use a small number of processors, each bound to handle the data only on our instructions:
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe acts as an independent controller for payment data under its own privacy policy.
- Our hosting provider — stores the website and its database.
- Our email provider — delivers our replies to your messages.
We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
5. International transfers
Some of our processors operate outside your country. Where data is transferred out of the UK or European Economic Area, it is protected by an adequacy decision or by Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for details of the safeguards that apply.
6. How long we keep it
- Order and payment records — for the period our tax authority requires, typically six to seven years.
- Account details — while your account exists, and for a short period afterwards.
- Contact messages — up to two years, then deleted.
- Server logs — a rolling short-term window kept by our host.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a portable copy, or withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email support@tradply.com. We respond within one month.
We may need to keep some records — orders and invoices in particular — even after a deletion request, where the law requires us to. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the data protection authority in France.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, administrative access is restricted, and payment data never touches our systems. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the data we hold.
9. Children
Tradply is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting existing customers will be notified by email.
